This 20s-style hat is most likely from the 1940s. It's wool felt ina milk chocolate shade of brown, completely covered with swirls and rows of entwined sequins and braid. Scalloped-edge "brim" is wider at front than at back. Almost certainly won't cover your eyes -- our mannequin has a very smallhead.

Dimensions:
measures 22"/55.5cm interior circumference just above the scalloped "brim"
brim measures 1.5"/3.75cm at back and 2.5" at front
--> Cracked Betty has a very small head (just over 20"/50.75cm), so is not the idealmodel. Our alternate mannequin, Cracked Jane, has a giant head and "hair" that prevents the hat from sitting properly. I have a standard-size head but very thick hair (no, really... mine is thicker). The hat fits me and reaches to where it should (doesn't cover my eyes), but is a bit snug. If you have an average-to-small head and "regular" hair, it should fit fine. <--
Our items are not newly manufactured "vintage style" pieces. They are true vintage, at least 30 years old. Please read condition report provided above.
