This vibrant, enchanting bag has been hand block printed on the highest quality pure cotton using handmade teak printing blocks.For the pattern, the printer designs from one to thirty print blocks, each of which takes two days to carve.The artist uses a series of different wood blocks to fill in or add different details and colors to the the design.

My appreciation for the intricate and precise art of hand printing was cultivated in the state where thetechnique of printing and dying fabric was honed, Rajastan, India.
