A pair of gold Indian earrings inspired by the design of the Passa—an important piece of Indian head jewelry and a prominent part of the bridal trousseau of brides in North India.
The earrings feature a gold top and lower part dressed in colored glass-cut stones set using the traditional jadai technique. The two gold sections are bordered by seed pearls and gold and stone beads using chakkar pirai and connected by multiple strands of seed pearls.
Suspended from the lower section are multiple strands of seed pearls, gold balls, enameled beads, and precious stones.
